“I am pleased the Senate passed the operating budget, which keeps us on track to have a budget in place by the start of the new biennium on Monday.

“I expect the House to act quickly and pass it as well, so it can be sent to my office.

"I want to thank the House for moving quickly this evening to pass the operating budget. My staff and I will be begin reviewing it immediately and I will sign it this weekend in time to ensure that state government will be open for business Monday morning.
