Inslee issues proclamation related to the Family Emergency Assistance Program

Gov. Jay Inslee today issued a proclamation related to the Department of Social and Health Services' Family Emergency Assistance Program. The proclamation will help more people who are financially impacted by COVID-19.

DSHS – Family Emergency Assistance Program 20-63

This proclamation addresses the Family Emergency Assistance Program (FEAP), and it authorizes DSHS to expand eligibility for the FEAP to include individuals and families without children. The authorization was previously established in Proclamation 20-18, and is being continued today in a separate standalone proclamation. The proclamation is effective immediately and will expire at the end of the state of emergency, it will not require legislative approval for extension.
