Inslee statement congratulating Speaker-elect Rep. Laurie Jinkins
Story Gov. Jay Inslee released a statement today congratulating Rep. Laurie Jinkins on being elected to serve as the new speaker-elect of the state House of Representatives. Jinkins’ election makes her the first female speaker in Washington state history.
