Public Defense Advisory Committee
Provides supervision and direction to the Office of Public Defense, an independent agency in the Judicial Branch. The Committee administers all criminal appellate indigent defense services and contracts with attorneys to represent indigent parents, custodians, and legal guardians involved in child dependency and termination of parental rights proceedings.
