Parks and Recreation Commission
Acquires, develops, maintains, and operates the state park to provide memorable recreational and educational experiences. It implements integrated pest management practices and takes steps necessary to control patina and purple loosestrife. Commission also consult and participate in the scenic and recreational highway system, and also develop and distribute information relating to marine oil recycling tanks and sewage holding tank pumping stations. It supervises seashore conservation, boating and water safety, scenic rivers, inspecting ski lifts, and snowmobile safety.
