Legislative Activities

The Ombudsman identifies problems in the child welfare system and recommends improvements to the Legislature and the Governor. These recommendations may be implemented, in part, through proposed legislation. Each legislative session, the Ombudsman actively reviews, analyzes, and comments on proposed bills.
