Better Strategies, Better Lives
The Long Term Care Task Force is charged with developing recommendations to meet the long term care needs of citizens now and in the future. The task force has a vital task. Already, long term care represents a significant share of state social services spending. And the post-World War II baby-boom generation, whose eldest members turn 60 in 2006, will greatly increase the demand for long term care services in the years immediately ahead.
