Clean Energy Leadership Council

SB 5921

The council will focus on getting Washington’s energy policies, technologies and capital aligned to ensure Washington continues to be a leader in clean energy development. The council will deliver a clean energy strategy and recommendations by December 1, 2010.

The program consists of the Defenders' Fund and the Competitive Grant Program.

Representatives of companies in the clean energy sector, representatives of 2 organizations providing support to clean energy companies, representatives of a public university, PNW national laboratory, venture capital firm investing in clean energy companies, professional services firm serving clean energy technology, director of the Department of Commerce, Governor’s designee and the representative from the Economic Development council.
