Council for Children and Families
Mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect. Responsibilities include: contracting to establish community-based educational and service programs aimed at preventing child abuse and neglect; assisting the exchange of information; consulting with state agencies; establishing the Children's Trust Fund; and adopting necessary and appropriate rules.

Qualification:
An interest and expertise in the prevention of child abuse. A minimum of four designees shall not be affiliated with governmental agencies and shall be made on a geographic basis to assure statewide representation.
