Naturopathy, State Board of

Adopts rules and sets minimum education and experience requirements. Board also prepares and administers licensing examinations and determines alternative training requirements. It further implements a continuing competency program and disciplines licensed Naturopaths for unprofessional conduct.

Member Requirements: Five members of the Board must be licensed Naturopaths and two members must be members of the public. The public members of the board may not be a member of any other health care licensing board or commission, have a fiduciary obligation to a facility rendering services regulated under this chapter, or have a material or financial interest in the rendering of services regulated under this chapter.
