Public Records Exemptions Accountability Committee (Sunshine Committee)

Reviews exemptions from Public Disclosures and makes recommendations to the Legislature to repeat or amend exemptions to the Public Records Act.

Member Requirements: The governor shall appoint two members, one of whom represents the Governor and one who represents local government; and four members of the public, with consideration given to diversity of viewpoint and geography. The governor shall select the chair of the committee from among its membership.
